History

Our story starts way back,

Once upon a time, in the heart of Neno District in Malawi, where dreams often collided with the harsh realities of life, a remarkable story began to unfold. Witness and Mary Mujaji, a couple fuelled by their shared passion for changing lives, embarked on a journey that would become the heartbeat of hope for many in their community.

Born into humble beginnings, Mary Mujaji grew up witnessing the untapped potential of young girls, often constrained by societal limitations. Determined to rewrite this narrative, Mary, whose name radiates strength and resilience, emerged as a beacon of change. Fuelled by her own experiences and a fervent belief in the power of education, she dedicated her life to creating opportunities for the underprivileged.

With a Masters degree in International Development and a Bachelors degree in Health Studies and Nursing, Mary’s journey took her across continents. For 18 years, she served as a nurse in England, witnessing the transformative impact of healthcare. But her heart always yearned for the land where her story began – Malawi.

Witness Mujaji, hailing from Zimbabwe, shared a similar story of humble beginnings. Growing up under the loving guidance of a single mother after his father’s untimely departure when he was just ten, Witness faced the harsh realities of life. Despite the challenges, Witness soared academically, earning a BEng in Mechatronics and a Masters degree in Automotive Engineering.
